The Jerry-31S is a dual-tube night vision goggle built on a lightweight articulating platform. Equipped with Gen 2+ white phosphor image intensifier tubes, it offers manual gain control, extended battery endurance, independently rotating pods, and compatibility with PVS-14/31-style optics, making it a feature-rich option for night vision users.

Image Intensifier Tubes: Equipped with Gen 2+ white phosphor image intensifier tubes rated between 1400 and 2000 FOM, the Jerry-31S has demonstrated the ability to produce bright, detailed, and immersive imagery, contributing to a highly satisfying viewing experience under low-light conditions during nighttime use. 

Optical System: The Jerry-31S utilizes Specter 40 optics, which are compatible with PVS-14 and PVS-31 night vision systems. This proven optical design balances familiarity and functionality, providing users with a reliable and adaptable viewing experience in a wide range of operating environments. Rear diopter adjustments enable personalized vision correction, while the front objective lenses allow precise manual focusing from close-range observation to distant targets, ensuring optimal image clarity in a variety of viewing conditions.

Controls and Manual Gain: The Jerry-31S features a multifunction control knob that serves as both the power switch and manual gain adjustment control. Bright Source Detection (BSD): The Jerry-31S incorporates a BSD function designed to provide additional protection when operating in environments with intense light sources. The feature can be activated or deactivated by pressing the multifunction control knob three times in quick succession. A green status indicator located within the left pod provides visual confirmation of the current operating mode, with a slow blinking light indicating that BSD is enabled and a rapid blinking light indicating that the feature has been disabled.

The device delivers up to 25 hours of runtime with a CR123A battery and up to 20 hours with an AA battery.
